A coffee machine is an electrically driven kitchen appliance for making coffee, using principles of thermal extraction and filtration. The alternating magnetic field at the fundamental frequency of 50 Hz resp. 60 Hz is caused by the electrically driven heating process heating water inside the heating pump.

Unless otherwise stated, the operating frequency confirms with measured frequency, i.e. the measurement was performed at the operating frequency of the coffee machine.
